I know babies come on their time.... I know... I can be patient... I can and I will....
that was my mantra untill mw offered to strip my membranes today- I am 41 weeks on Sunday-
I was all about it- she said it would be uncomfortable, and it was not at all for me, but I was not dialated yet at all, and 50%- this is my third baby, so I am not putting a terrible lot of stock in that- but am so ready to meet my baby
So! We stripped today- and I bought some evening primrose oil - but have not used it yet- I am not 100% sure how to use it just yet- we shall see- I am ready to meet my baby-
my poor DH has been on sex duty every few hours - and at his age that is not as easy a request as it used to be- and we have been walking and walking
and walking with one foot on the curb on one foot off
anyway.... I know I am babbling... ready to meet baby
I am feeling very energetic and full of energy and positive strength- trying to protect that energy
ready to have people stop asking me if I am in labor

How did she strip your membranes if you're not dilated at all? As for the EPO, the way I was doing it (I ran out) is to take two by mouth (2000mg total) and 1 inserted vaginally (1000mg). I poked a hole in the one I inserted first, just to give the oil better access to my cervix, but it's not necessary. It seems to have worked, I started taking it at 1cm, and I'm not 5-6cm dilated. Where you're 41 weeks, you may want to take more, but I don't know how much.
