TF Book suggestions

I know there's a sticky thread around with something like this, but please humour me and let me know: what would you suggest as "beginner reading"? I'm going to the library soon (hopefully next Friday- I'd like to go sooner but ds1's bday party is this weekend and then there's 2 million and 1 other appointments).

Nourishing Traditions and Full Moon Feasts are good for beginners... after that, Wild Fermentation.

i second full moon feast. it is simply fun to read because it is so beautifully written. i think nourishing traditions is a bit more "bossy" sounding for lack of other words in my pregnant brain.

Great list! I need to go shopping

Real Food: What to Eat and Why by Nina Planck is the one I recommend most. It's easy and enjoyable reading. Nourishing Traditions is another good one because it has a lot of practical recipes in it. It also has a lot of great info, but not so easily laid out IMO. I love Full Moon Feast too. It's very inspirational.

I would add GAPS and Cure Tooth Decay to that list, but that would be for more specific problems you are trying to correct, not just general TF philosophy. I did like The Maker's Diet for an overview of healthy living.

I'd heard of both of these books here before but hadn't really thought either "applied" to me. Thanks so much!
