If It's for headache try peppermint oil, a little dabbed under the nose fixes my headaches. If it's really bad you can rub it on temples, neck, massage scalp with it.

Try sugar and caffeine for headaches or migraines.

A warm bath, massage, and stretching for sore or cramping muscles.

A cool bath or cold washcloth on the neck and forehead for fever reduction.

Heat pads or ice for various injuries.

I'm not sure what you could use for things like arthritis, breaks and sprains, after surgery pain, etc.

willow trees are where they get aspirin from...a wild-eating woman told me this. she said two inches of a branch will have the same effect as two aspirin. do not overdose. she made that very explicit in her statements and handouts.

i have never tried it.

Okay, I had a bad headache that pain relievers and caffeine weren't touching. I got online, looked up headache home remedies. A page came up with several. Most were not anything I wanted to deal with, I had a headache! Lol. One looked too easy though. I figured even if it didn't work, I wasn't out anything and it wasn't difficult.

1 tsp honey, stir into a cup of cold water, drink

In a half an hour, the headache was gone. And it didn't come back. I've used it a couple times since and it always works.

Boswellin is a terrific natural, herbal anti-inflammatory. It helps with all kinds of things from aches and pains, swelling, migraines, IBS and asthma.

From what I read, it's much safer than the other NSAIDS like ibuprofin etc. I don't know about any possible children, bf-ing or pregnancy issues though. The main caution I've found has to do with if you're taking beta blockers or calcium channel blockers - I think it can make it build up or clears it faster, I forget which.

Anyway, it has helped me tremendously and several people I know. I take the Now brand, and I love it. I was having almost daily headaches and migraines along with other pain, and now I rarely have a headache anymore.

Google Boswellin for more info.
