Vinegar rinse (for hair)

Thread Starter
I using handmade soap on my hair when I had a short cut but find it leaves a little too much glycerin behind for my current longer style. I have yet to try an ACV rinse in it but want to give it a go. Any fav recipes?

The measurements are loose, sorry, but I have a couple.

Easy One
Take 1 part ACV, 3-4 parts water heat to low simmer and add rose petals. Simmer for 20 minutes. Skim off solid matter and enjoy.

Easier One
Mix 1 part AVC with 3 parts water and 1/2 part rose or lavender water (rose or lavender hydrosol).

Harder
Bring 1 gallon distilled water to low boil. Add 1/2 cup or more of calendula leaves, cherry bark, rosemary, lemongrass, chamomile, rose petals, and lavender. Add 1 tablespoon powdered myrrh. Let simmer for 20 minutes. Add 2 tablespoons of agar agar and stir until mixture thickens. Add 1 quart ACV. Let cool and bottle.

I used to sell a similar version of this at our local farmer's market, and got very positive feedback. I use this on my own hair, too. ETA: Actually, my 9 yo and my dh also use this. I have butt length dreads, dd has shoulder length thick curly hair, and dh has long finer wavy hair. It makes everyone's hair soft and shiny.

You can also substitute kombucha that has fermented too long to be palatable.

You can also add a little glycerine to any of the recipes.

I just mix 1 tbsp ACV with 1 cup warm water.

I also stopped using shampoo and am using the same ratio of baking soda to water.

Good luck!
