My period and mastitis??!!

This is not fair. First, I get my period last week and now I'm in agony trying to care for 3 kids while sick (plus one of the kids is vomiting too).

not in your ddc, but i just waned to add tha it might not be your period- just delayed pp bleeding. this happened to me and i freaked out. i stopped bleeding 3 weeks pp and then had another bleeding spell at about 6 or 7 weeks pp. i called the mw and she said it happens sometimes, to give it a couple days. she said it was VERY unlikely to get my period back so soon.

FWIW i am almost 4 months pp and still no period

I did have very long pp bleeding with my other two kids (7 and 9 weeks but it was constant). This time my bleeding had been gone for 2 weeks and then returned bright red like period blood, not brown like old pp blood.
My cycles also didn't return until about a year with the other two.

This felt like a period though. I hope its not!

I had what I thought was a period around 6 weeks pp with my first two pregnancies. IIRC, it's fairly common to see bleeding around that time.
