Ok.... here is the reason for my starting this thread.

I have been givin the opportunity to speak on the radio about HPV Vaccination and a families view... I also have the opportunity to share as much info. as I can with the guy running the show. I have my view, but I don't know the ins and outs enough to really give a statistic and number and would love to find any info I can from you!

I am a little lost on the statistic and numbers and proof side of things, so anyone out there have precise information I could give that would affect the dec. of others listening would be very helpful....

Thanks guys... What information would you like to see given?

I would like to see a chart made up from studies from FDA and CDC websites... anyone have anything like that...?

Of course I want everything else, just thought a chart would be good.

That's a great opportunity and I'm in awe about your courage! Unfortunately, all my info is in German and I don't have it at hand right now. I only remember vaguely that Gardasil is promoted with the "fact" that cervical cancer is the No.2 killer of women. I think the catch with this is that this represents worldwide cases, and that apparently African women are more prone to develop cervical cancer. If Europe and the US are looked at alone, cervical cancer is only No. 10 in killers, but that won't be said. Sorry I don't have more precise information for you.

One thing that always gets me is: how can they say anything about the effectiveness of Gardasil? It takes up to 30 years for this cancer to develop, so it's just impossible to say anything about prevented cases after the few years that Gardasil has been approved... All those girls who get vaccinated now are mere guinea pigs for Merck.

Anyways, good luck and !!

It seems to me that this is a huge issue... I agree... they can't know the results for a long time... it was just introduced.

Try this link....it's for the UK but may be useful in that it shows that cervical cancer is in decline anyway....so why the vaccine? It effects most women in their 70's so why a vaccine programme for 12 year olds? How do we know how long this vaccine lasts?

This vaccine is new in the UK and is currently being given to all 12-13 year olds, there are adverts everywhere and it worries me.
Let us know how you get on.
