^ See, legos, lincoln logs, and dinosaurs are fine. I don't mind them at all (in fact I rather like blocks). It's the trucks, tractors, toy guns, etc.... the toys that encourage rough-housing/violence that bother me. I hate sports too. Sports can also be rather rough-and-tumble.

Mine feels like a girl. I have always thought I'd have a boy and a girl. The needle test has consistently told me this too since before I became a mommy. And my ds tells me its a girl sister in mom's belly! It better be a girl!

I have a feeling it's a boy this time, though DD really wants a little sister and I would like her to have one too at some point. But needle test seems to say boy, however the Chinese gender chart says girl. We'll find out probably at the end of October - I can't wait b/c DH doesn't want to discuss names until then :

My guess would be boy.

We lost our first child at 19 weeks gestation. She was a girl with Turner's Syndrome (and fatal brain and heart abnormalities). Since then I've had two boys and really think that we can only produce boys at this point. I've gt this feeling that dh's x sperm just aren't up to par or something. There is a small part of me that will always wonder what it would be like to have a girl. But, I'm pretty sure this is boy and I will continue on with what I know and am used to. Having three boys sounds crazy and fun to me. I'll find out in a few weeks!

Based solely on the 160 bpm we heard last week and probably a little of my own want, I think this is going to be a girl.

We have one son (adopted) and so I have no "feelings" or previous experience to go off of. So, if it does turn out to be a boy I'm totally fine with that as Beans will then have a brother to play rough with.

But, MAN, a sweet little girl sure would be great!

Don't worry about that, we didn't circ and there is really NOTHING you have to do. You don't pull it back to clean it or worry about it all really. Just wipe and diap!

I'm going to guess Boy. I always think I have a boy, and I'm 0 for 2. So third's the charm on being right. I would be happier with a girl since I've BTDT, but for the record, I'll say BOY.

Maybe it's just wishful thinking but so far my morning sickness has been as bad as it was with my dd and the baby's heart is 160ish.

Well, I got my ultrasound appointment scheduled! I find out the gender on October 13th!!!

I'm guessing girl. My pregnancies with DS and DD were very similiar. The only difference was that my hair grew much more slowly with DD. I normally have to shave my legs once a day. When pg with DS, I still just did once a day but I had so much more. With DD, I could skip two or three days easily. So I'm basing it on that alone. Also both my kids say they want it to be a girl while DH and I have no preference.

I'm hoping to find out Oct 9.

I'm totally with you - I'm fine with having a girl as long as she doesn't get into that frou-frou stuff. I have a 2 year old one now. The clothes are a lot of fun. But I'm dreading if she turns into a girly-girl. I'm really hoping she ends up more of a tomboy. I have found that my girl has been a LOT easier to handle during the toddler stage than my son was though. (But as former middle school and high school teacher, I realize that girls are harder as teen than boys on average. Boys seem to be harder in the early years).

I had my first gender dream last night. I dreamt that I was nursing a boy and a girl! My dreams were right with J, so I hope they're right this time.
