- How do I find the CDC pink sheets? I didn't see it when I searched the CDC site.
- Is there a source explaining the connection to Guillain-Barre Syndrome?
- I have seen people here say that it hasn't been shown to be effective for kids < 3. Source?
- Which brands are given to children? The ones I've found here so far all say they've been studied in adults over 18. Are these given to kids "off-label"?
I appreciate any concise and "official" sources. My friend's DH is an engineer, and did "all the research" when I encouraged her to question the standard vaxes when the baby was born. He apparently came to the conclusion that she would get ALL of them. But since my friend is now asking about her ped's recommendation to get the flu shot after DD turns 1, I am hoping maybe I can lead her to start doing some reading herself and question the remaining shots she is yet to get (such as MMR). I am suggesting The Vaccine Book, because I know she likes Sears. But I want to start with irrefutable stuff so that the DH will be satisfied in what will hopefully be her conclusion not to get the flu vax, and thus trust her to question others. Make sense? Thanks!
