I have been having problems with my skin for about the past 10 months. It is clear that at least some of it is stress-related, as our life has been kind of tumultuous and upsetting and challenging in that time.
50% of the time, I'm battling a zit here or there (which are probably often related to my hormones and period), and I have tiny bumps on my forehead...I also have a rash that seems better lately, but has been impossible to rid (I tried the allergy-elimination diet, and it didn't go away).
My diet is a traditional foods one. I have posted there to see if those ladies can help out in terms of diet.
I have mostly not been using a cleanser at all, per my naturopath's recommendation, although I did try a very gentle all natural tea tree oil cleanser a month ago to see if it would help. (it hasn't really helped). If my skin feels dry, I use 100% pure shea butter.
I do yoga and have started meditating regularly...I also hope to make sure I walk/run in addition to the yoga, which I am sure will help.
Do you ladies have any tips or advice or insight as to what might the problem be, and how much of a role skincare plays into it?
I realize there are many factors involved in the health of the skin, including stress, exercise, and diet...but wanted to see what you ladies had to say about natural skin care.
I am ready to have clear, radiant skin!
Thanks SO much for any help you might have...
