A child needs your help

While this is not a loss of a life, this is a loss of LIFE as a 5 year old knows it.

The accident is not so new now, but there are still many developments that need to pass and I'm expanding the prayer circle.

Long story short:

My cousin Kenny was in a wreck with his mom, and his spine was damaged in two places. He's still paralyzed from the neck down, they just repaired his neck injuries this week, and he's received a tracheotomy since he cannot breathe on his own.

He's got a long way to go and it's so sad to possibly have your entire life ahead of you wiped away with one jerk who ran a red light. He JUST turned five, too, a couple weeks before the accident.
Here's a photo I took this summer for him (he posed and "made" me take it):

He has this webpage you can go to, to offer prayers, sign his guestbook, etc.

More details and updated journals on the whole thing there, too.

Please, no matter what you believe in, send your best prayers/well-wishes/ANYTHING to this poor kid.

Sending super-power healing vibes to your very special cousin.

And in case you get to visit him, a joke you can take to him....
:
Knock knock.
Who's there?
Lucy.
Lucy who?
Loose elastic will make your pants fall down.

Sending you love. WHat a very difficult time for you and your family. I truly believe that things happen for a reason- and you are helping make his life a lesson for all of us. Thank you.

I will send him all my love, and will check out his site. Hugs momma.

: Ok. Done. I hope he gets much better very quickly. And I hope the person who did this to him is punished to the fullest extent.
