Carob brownies made from chips?

I tried searching the archives and it pulled up a bunch of weird unrelated stuff.

I want to make my son some brownies b/c his dad bought gf brownie mix - great for dd, but it has sugar - not for ds. So I have a totally stocked pantry including a bag of carob chips, but not carob powder. I am hoping to find straight up brownies. I keep seeing ones made with bananas & stuff. bananas and chronic constipation are a bad idea, and he hates fruit. I am happy to look at any ideas, I just want to make my babies happy!

Bumping...because I'd love some of those, too!

My dh made my dd a batch of carob brownies from a regular brownie recipe just replacing the cocoa powder with carob powder and the sugar with honey. (oh yeah and the white wheat flour with whole spelt flour). She loved them. Is your ds very picky? If not, I am sure he will love the ones you make too!
