-MW "irritating" my cervix (not sure if that is the same as sweeping the membranes)
-Sex
-Nipple stimulation
-A very strong brew of RRL (made me puke)
-EPO (orally and vaginally)
-walking
-curb walking
-squatting
-sitting on my exercise ball and rocking
-praying
-Chinese food

Wow; baby is NOT ready yet! Or maybe your body isn't. I hope your time comes sooooooooon. Sending labor dust your way!

I tried these (in addition to sex/orgasm/nipple stim & curb walking) the day I went into labor:
-eating lots of pineapple
-eating balsamic vinegar on veggies (mmmmm...nummy!!!)
-EFT (to clear up emotional issues that I was concerned would interfere with my labor - nothing at all interfered with my labor when the time came)
-hot water bottle on my chest.

I was 10 days past my due date - I totally understand that feeling that it is time for the baby to come!

Good luck to you - you *will* go into labor once everything is ready. Hoping it is very soon!

how about treating yourself to a nice, professional massage? at the very least it should make you feel good and more relaxed, which has to be helpful towards encouraging baby to think more seriously about coming out.

ps -- what's EFT?

I'm going for acupuncture Monday morning and getting a massage on Tuesday...hoping one or both of these might give me/baby the nudge...cuz not a thing is happening here. :

Emotional Freedom Technique
To be perfectly honest, I find it to be sort of hokey and silly, but it really does seem to work for me.
