I had that with my first pregancy, tasted like I'd been chewing on pennies. It went away after a few days. I don't know why it happened though. Hope it goes away soon!!

I haven't had the metalic taste per se but I have been getting a really bad taste in my mouth after I eat or drink certain things.

Ugh, I hate the metalic taste. It comes and goes with me, but always seems to ruin it when I do get the chance to eat.

Oh my gosh, I've had that on and off, one day in particular was AWFUL! I have the feeling that something I eat sets it off, but I haven't been able to figure out what that is. I did a bunch of research on it, and evidently there is nothing you can do except try to cover it up with other tastes. Ugh! Yuck!

This was one of my very first symptoms right after I found out I was PG. I was having my favorite, scrambled eggs and cheddar, and I couldn't make it past 3 bites! Totally like metal in my mouth.

I haven't noticed it as much since, but I was so bummed!

I got that really bad with my twins pg, which interestingly, was the ONLY pregnany I wasn't anemic. I don't know if its related....

I've heard that lemon/citrus can help ward off the metal taste.

Hopefully it'll pass once your body adjusts to whatever hormone surge you're currently facing!

LOL

I remember that when i was pregnant with DS. I haven't had it this pregnancy yet. I never understood it, but it's pretty icky.
