Hi ! I'm brand new here and I'm hoping there are some Steamboat Sprgs, CO momma's (or momma-to-be's) in here. I need OB advice, and possible midwife referral if there any known midwifes in the area!

Hi! I don't live in Steamboat (yet!), but my IL's do, and, as we're planning on moving there in a few years and I'm contemplating midwifery as a next career, I spent some time talking with the midwife in town there about her practice, doulas in the area, etc.
Suzanne Tully is the only midwife in the area--her office is in Steamboat proper, but she travels widely. She follows the traditional midwifery model. I believe the next closest one to her is in Grand Junction. There are a handful of doulas there, as well. Suzanne has a brief website at: http://birthpartners.com/ls-1-7-1-59...ed+States.aspx
