Kind of stuck in a rut and looking for inspiration. How is everyone else eating these days and what? I loved that thread back in the spring, it really helped me be creative about our TF eating. We are starting to get a lot of autumn vegetables in and are looking for new ways to combine them with our meat, fish and legumes.

Today we had:
Raw yogurt smoothie with peaches, blueberries, CLO, honey
Plums, Nectarines
Nut Butter on Alvarado St. Bread with homemade jam
Raw cheddar cheese, almonds, raisins
Cod, Herb Potatoes, green beans, corn and tomatoes
Apple

We just started getting winter squashes which I adore roasted and made into a soup with some roasted onions and spices. Not to mention some creme fraiche swirled in the bowls.... Now I'm all hungry!
Leeks are in season here too. Leek and potato soup with good chicken broth is good.
Can't think of anything else at the moment - my brain is too busy thinking about making curried squash soup....

breakfast yesterday was soaked amaranth and pecans and quinoa (with tiny bit of lemon) cooked and served with cream, butter. Eggs too.
Lunch was sushi out. I had lots of roe

Yesterday for dinner we had apple sausages with brussels sprouts and leftover rice noodles made into macaroni and cheese.

todays breakfast was a repeat.
Todays lunch was leftovers and a handful of cashews. Kids had pb and j on sprouted bread with bananas and vanilla milk(stevia flavoring plus milk) I will have another coffee and cream. Possibly munch on veggies or brussel sprouts.
I might make chocolate chip cookies with stevia.
Dinner is undecided. I have broth cooking, and chana dal soaking so possibly chicken curry or soup?

they are chickpeas, but a slightly smaller, harder form. So they never really get as soft- which means they are great for long simmering curries. Dh says he has had them in India. They are yummy, but make a terrible hummus!
