What is curb walking?

Hi,

I've been seeing this in threads lately but I don't know what it is.

Thanks!

It's where you walk along the curb with one foot on the curb and one foot in the gutter so that you are taking a step up every time you move forward. I was told it helps to get baby engaged better than regular walking because it forces more side-to-side swaying of the hips. It really works out your quads too.

Wasn't too bad for me until my leg muscles got sore. It didn't send me into labor, unfortunately. I have quite a few friends that swear by it though.

I tried it for about 20 minutes this afternoon. It didn't start anything, but I figure it doesn't hurt to keep trying. You never know what might make baby decide it's time now.
