playsilks- what to use to get brown?

I'd like to do some Autumn playsilks tomorrow with the boys, but am looking for any easy suggestions for brown coloring. Has anyone used coffee grounds? I'll be using orange and red kool-aid too.

I know totally yummy- coffee and koolaid .
