..after darn near 2 years of not vaccinating and my family knowing about it; I finally have the blessings from my mom. Not that I need that to validate my decision but I respect that woman so much and she's so intelligent.. it just makes me feel even more validated with her behind me, kwim? While she was very hesitant at first about us not vaccinating, I've armed myself with such great info from here and answered all her questions. She's researched a little herself and talked with a few professors that she works with (she's a college professor in biology) and has decided to back me. : Finally! Someone IRL understands my POV. FINALLY.

Now, if I could just arm myself from Dr's like I can with my own mom.. sigh..

Congrats on your mom's blessing. As a biology professor myself, I can say that it took me a while to come over to the anti-vax side of things. But once I started looking into the actual research and science I am very confident in my choice to not vax my DD. Yay! And doctors do exist.
