i went in for my u/s today, and it was great! im measuring about 5 days ahead of where i thought i was, so my due date is now 4/14. i was so surprised to see the baby actually looking like BABY. i was expecting more of a peanut, which is what i saw at 9 weeks with audrey. baby was moving arms and legs all over the place, and doing summer-saults (sp? lol). i wasnt feeling pg at all really before this, and now i am in love : .

yeah we got a cute little picture taken from the side. i got to see lots of shots of the feet and hands as well ( i wish she would have printed up a foot picture, ill have to ask that next time).. and also the two hemispheres of the brain which was COOL. lol. my fiancee was like "wow, it has a brain already!" @@. anyway, yeah. it was exciting.

We had one today too! We got a great shot of baby waving at us with its perfectly formed little hand. All DH could say as tears were coming from his eyes was "That's sooo crazy!"

yay for seeing babes in ultrasounds!

It was the best to see it bouncing and waving around.

Can't wait to feel them. LOL

Congrats!

lol elroebot, my dp had tears in his eyes too, which is funny because im nutorious for being un-emotional. so was laying there casually like "oh, yeah, thats kind of cool"... and dp was practically crying. the u/s lady probably thought we were a crazy couple.

momma, i saw the baby moving before she caught the heartbeat, and i thought to myself "oh, its moving- it must be alive. thats a good thing". then started freaking out inside because she didnt catch the h/b for another minute... even though the baby was doing flips and kicking all over the place. i was so nervous!

At our ultrasound at 9 weeks the baby was twitching and DH (who has a lot of nervous energy and prob. drinks too much coffee, sleeps with a fan in the middle of the winter ) said, "Look the baby's just like me...he's thinking god...it's too hot in here and I'm feeling crowded!"

Ok, cool isn't really the best word. But you know what I mean. Amazing, spectacular, exciting...
