How long to wait ttc after x-rays?

How long do you think one should wait to try to conceive after x-rays? I had to have 10-11 x-rays for the re treatment of a root canal due to an abscess. I am definitely not happy about that! Anyway, they were digital x-rays if that makes any difference.

Does anyone know where I could read more about this as well?

If I am remembering correctly, digital x-rays are about 1/6 the exposure of regular ones, so what you had was equal to maybe 2 regular x-rays. I presume you were wearing a shield, so there is really nothing to worry about, even if you were already pregnant. That's about as much radiation as you'd get on a long flight.

And anyway, the radiation is done and over. Are you thinking it could damage a fetus or embryo that is not even in utero yet? I've never heard of that being a concern at all.

I did dental x-rays the cycle before I conceived DD. It shouldn't be any problem at all to ttc right away now.
