Digestion?

My 2 year old can't digest steel cut oats. Is that normal? Obviously I won't give them to him anymore, but I was just wondering if that's a digestion issue or just a steel cut oat digestion issue!

I wouldn't say it's normal.

Just the steel cut oats or all oats in general.

My son has major problems with oats, it started with granola bars, but I have found it is all oats. It isn't an all out allergy, more like an intolerance, I guess.

Hmmm. I'll have to give regular oats a try. I'm going to wait a week, though, because his poor bottom is not tolerating his poo right now. That's such a bummer, because we love oatmeal at our house.
