she killed herself

yesterday. My dear friends depressed and lonely sister. My friend is so heartbroken and feels all this responsibility it just breaks my heart. My friend GAVE her sister a car on Saturday and now my friend feels like this act of generosity might have made her feel bad. But the obvious truth is this was a planned event.
I just wish this didn't ever happen.

Oh my, I'm so sorry to hear that. We've had suicide in our family, and you just feel so helpless. There are support groups she can go to, or look into online also. The hospitals who have good mental health departments usually have suicide support departments. Hugs to you.

I'm just not sure why I feel like I just got hit by a truck. I wasn't close to Kelly but the effect on my dear friend, who really is my aunt, has paralyzed me. I feel so wrecked like I never want anyone ever to be so sad they can't make it. I have been worthless all day. I hope I feel better tomorrow. thank goodness I don't read the news or I would likely feel like this every day.

My aunt killed herself last year. I wasn't sure what to do w/ myself, either. It was so sudden to us, but she had been planning it.

We've had 2 suicides in our extended family. I think most people who haven't experienced it don't realize how deep and wide the ripple effect is.

i had a relative commit suicide a few years back, and it hurts to see how it hurts everyone else. It is just so hard.
