Would you like Holistic Moms Meetings in Walnut Creek?

Hi ladies!

The East Bay Holistic Moms Network (currently based in Oakland) is considering expanding to have a monthly meeting in Walnut Creek.

Karen, the East Bay leader, is looking for mamas willing to take a leadership role to help her make this a reality. Take it from me (the Tri-Valley chapter co-leader) HMN leadership is great fun, and a great way to make friends, serve the community, and learn a ton in the process!

If you would like to help Karen make this expansion a reality, please email her at eastbayhmn at yahoo dot com. If you’re not interested in leadership, but are interested in attending WC based meetings, please let her know that as well.

Oh yes please!

I'm totally interested!!!! Both close chapters are too far to drive with gas being the price it is right now.

I know you said to email her but I thought I would post here too...this way, it give it a bump!

I am interested as well. I have always wanted to attend a meeting but haven't yet been able to justify the drive. I would love a group in walnut creek. I would definitely be able to work that drive. I have a lot of other things on my plate so unfortunately I cannot commit to leadership. But I would be able to attend meetings given the leaders of the group & I could work out a payment plan. Our family is tight on money and hasn't been able to stretch our budget. But I would be happy to assist in other ways if needed. Just wanted to put it out there that we are interested but do have some financial obsticals!

I am in Brentwood, but come the Concord area at least 2 times a week for API playgroups, etc; so would definately be willing to come to a holistic group, too.

Hi all,

I'm Karen, one of the co-leaders of the East Bay Holistic Moms Network and the one interested in expanding our group's monthly meetings and other activities to the Mount Diablo area. I live in Lafayette and it would be great to meet new friends closer to home. I'm so glad to hear that folks are interested.

I think I may have finally found a meeting space in Pleasant Hill (it's taking a while to find a nice, yet affordable spot). I'm going to check it out next week. If the space works out, then we can hopefully plan things in January and hold our first get-together in February 2009. If anyone knows of other possible meeting spaces, please let me know.

I'd love to hear from folks if they'd prefer a daytime (morning or afternoon), evening, or weekend meeting time. I can be reached directly at eastbayhmn@yahoo.com.
