Think happy thoughts for me today. I am going to the dentist for the first time in 15 years. :

I am embarrassed and scared at the same time.

Other than some stains to a cap my teeth look okay to the naked eye, but I just know they are horrible on the inside.

I am imagining having to have dentures, paying outrageous amounts of money, and having to go back numerous times.

Maybe my technician will be a stranger and I won't have to be quite as embarrassed...

Good news- no cavities!! I do have plaque that will require 2 cleaning sessions, but that is it. :

The doc said he was very pleased with the state of my teeth and kept telling me how lucky I am.

I was so relieved that I cried in the office.
