Well she left the hospital weighing MORE than she did at birth which my ped says is almost unheard of.

I should mention that I am a milk machine. Have tandem nursed my own kids and pumped for a friends kid at the same time - my milk just flows like the mighty Mississippi.

Anyways... so she's on a bili blankie at home for the jaundice and a nurse comes out daily to take her blood and weigh her. She's just been steadily gaining, a couple of ounces a day - but overnight last night she gained half a pound! We weighed her several times just to be sure.

Go mama's milk!

She's steadily on her way to breaking her oldest brother's record of 28# at 6 months old exclusively on my milk.

Holy moly! I think my 2 1/2 year old only weighed that much a few months ago. That's incredible.

My DD is 2.9 yo and still has not hit 28lbs...that is incredible for six mos.

None of my kids have lost any weight either though...my little one weighed 7lbs 10oz when she was born and was 8lbs 6oz at one week...cant wait to see how much she weighs when we go back to see the mw next week. she is already starting to get rolls on her arms and legs...I love it...

Yay! We are gaining about a pound a week. My mw was amazed at his rolls starting on his thighs.

Awesome! We are doing the same thing over here. Luca was born much smaller than my other two. He was up 10oz the first week and another pound by week two!

GO BREASTMILK!

Add baby Colin to the chunky monkey club.... he is 6.5 weeks, and has gained a pound a week over the past 5 weeks. He is now 12.5 pounds and moving into the 3-6 month sizes in clothes.

It's kind of freaking me out, actually.... but I'd rather have this problem than the opposite!
