I have an almost-17 month old daughter who has started hating car trips. She used to occupy herself well with stuffed animals and chewies and books, but apparently those aren't nearly as involving anymore.
I'm looking for suggestions for small toys I can make her. I think little manipulatives might interest her, so I ordered the sewing apple from A Toy Garden. She plays a bit with a small set of busy beads.
Maybe something with pockets and little pieces to put into them? Have you made anything similar?
