Stretch Island Fruit Leathers peanut allergy safe?

Just curious if anyone knows if fruit leathers are a safe snack for a person with severe peanut allergy. I know of two brands available, Stretch Island and Archer Farms (Target). Any thoughts?

My son loves the grape Stretch Island fruit leathers & we've had no problems with other flavors, he just doesn't like them as much. He's very sensitive, reacts to "made in a facility"s and "may contains."

I called last year to check & they were safe to try; you may want to call too though, because places change, y'know?

Thanks! I'll give them a call. I hope they are ok, they are pretty handy to keep for on the go!

My son eats them with no issues. He is allergic to peanuts and almonds. I love 'em too.

No peanut allergies here, but I wouldn't trust Archer Farms because they process a lot of allergy foods in one facility. Also, at one point, their fruit leather contained undeclared corn, which made me very wary of them.

That is what I suspected. Undeclared corn? Weird.
