"Active Parenting Now"?

My husband and I have signed up for a parenting with faith program at our church and the textbook they are using is called "Active Parenting Now". I just did a search online and can't find any information about it. Has anyone ever heard of this? Any opinions? I'm not interested in having someone change the way I parent, just in giving me ideas for different areas, like religion. Thanks!

They can't change the way you parent unless you let them. go in with an open mind & see what they have to offer.

Again, I don't know a thing about that particular program, but I agree that nobody can change the way you parent. Go into it with an open mind, take what they say and run it past your own sense of what's right and wrong for your children, and decide what you're going to use and what you won't. That's what I do with any parenting book or parenting advice I'm given.
