Bethesda area pediatricians?

Hi! We just moved to Bethesda and we need a pediatrician NOW!! We're doing the alt. vac. schedule and Nora (5.5 months) is due for another round in a couple weeks. I just called Dr. Fusner's office and she's no longer taking new patients.

Any others in the area???

We're officially *with* Dr. Sala's office in Rockville (having just moved to north bethesda a few months ago ourselves...)

But when I called they were doing a waiting list too! I told the receptionist that I didn't really need a ped right now...just needed to choose someone for the insurance paperwork. After checking with Dr. Sala she called me back and said that it was ok and that we could use that for our insurance.

With any luck we won't ever have to go see them, though. ;-)

I found it really difficult to find any ped office that is taking new patients...unless they are newborns.

We take our daughter to Woodside Pediatrics in Silver Spring (about 15-20 minutes from Bethesda). Drs. Adams and Thompson there have been respectful of our alternative vaccination schedule and our decision to decline the Rotavirus vaccine.
