What should I try? Update in post #4

So the bum rash is GONE! Yay! There's still some mucus in her poop though so I'm not sure if I should wait it out a few more days, take something else out, or try to add something. Here's what we've done:

9/17 began rice, zucchini, sweet potatoes, green beans, pears, coconut oil, olive oil, sea salt, black pepper, brown sugar, turbinado sugar, vanilla extract

9/20 got rid of green beans just in case

9/22 got rid if vanilla extract (no idea there was such a thing as GF vanilla...)

9/21-9/23 trialed turkey, bum rash worsened after is had almost been eliminated, plus she got diarrhea.

My plan is to try lamb, quinoa, and oats and probably in that order. I feel like I really need some protein and I really would like to do some different grains. A TED this time of year is great since pears and squash are in season! lol

I think I'd hold off on the oats. Most oats are xcontaminated with wheat.

I have Bob's Red Mill GF oats so I hope cross contamination isn't an issue there.

Update: so there's some bum irritation this evening. I didn't look too good at it since she was screaming and I was putting her nighttime dipe on, but definitely some redness. So is it just because she was in the same dipe for longer than usual or is she starting to react to something I've been eating during the TED? We had an "angry at the boob" incident this afternoon and her tummy was super rumbly.

I'm thinking I'm going to try a different type of fruit tomorrow. (*sigh*)

It could be something that you're eating still. Maybe go a few days without any fruit. Or take out the vanilla extract- most have corn x-con.

Not to bum you out, but really... it could be anything. Make sure your food journal is really detailed, and maybe start (if you're not already) writing down times of eating/symptoms so that you can look for patterns- like 4 hours after you eat the vanilla extract, her tummy rumbles, etc.
