First let me just say that being a part of this DDC has been so encouraging for me. Thank you all for your support along the way.

Jillian Nicole made her debut last night at 11:28pm, at home just like we'd planned.

I wrote out my birth story and posted on my blog... http://lisaispreggers.blogspot.com

There's also some pictures on there too.

I had a little bit of tearing so my midwife has me on bedrest for 7 days. I'm sure I'll be checking in on here often just as soon as I finally get some sleep. I'm still wired from the adrenaline high.

I loved your birth story... it reminded me of mine, probably what my birth experience might have been like had I been able to have my home birth. It's so true that once you're in labor you don't care what you look like, what you're wearing, or who sees you. lol. I was nude for half my labor as well. (and I had a room full of people!!)

Congrats on your little bundle of joy! :

Congratulations!

I read your whole birth story. You are amazing! It sounds like you had a really great birth and a fast one at that....I guess all that pre-labor activity was really working for you.

I'm so glad you are holding your baby in your arms. She is adorable...and so are you.
