To support bill A05468, which allows parents to decline vaccinations on philosophical grounds, please sign the petition here:

http://www.gopetition.com/petitions/...-new-york.html

I'll be writing an email to Assemblyman Alessi (who passed the bill) to make sure the petition is on his radar, and one to mine to support the bill. Feel free to send your assemblyperson your support as well! You can get his/her email address at: http://assembly.state.ny.us/

Thanks,
Jude

The bill was proposed by New Yorkers for Informed Choice and sponsored by Alessi. It has been submitted each year for the past several years, but has never been voted on by the state Senate.

Oh proverbs, that is sad to hear I hope that this year it is passed (and actually voted on.) I thought that a bill couldnt be reintroduced every year, and that there was a waiting process before it could be resubmitted? Uhhh, I am probably getting my hopes up way too much.

I keep praying though!
