DH and I are getting ready to TTC, and I am an extreme control freak planner. So I am going to go on some L&D tours before I even get PG
We live about 5 seconds away from Regional and I'm looking for some stories from women who've birthed there. I am looking for a hands off hospital birth. DH is completely not comfortable with homebirth, so the plan is that we will stay home as long as possible, and then go in either when I can't take it anymore and definitely want drugs, or when I feel pushy. Obviously Regional would be ideal since I could really stay home completely as long as I wanted to, and the transfer to the hospital would only take about 5-10 minutes max, because I would be pre-registered.
I'm also going to check out Los Gatos Community Hospital, Good Sam and O'Connor, but those are all farther away (while still being very close), so I'm really hoping that Regional ends up being ok.

) My sis birthed all natural there and they were pretty great. Nice big rooms too! GL!
