Well, what is this hypothetical person's desired outcome? Is she looking for answers on how to get around the requirement, or how to bolster the immune system to deal with the shots, or something else?

From the "official" standpoint, I believe after age 7 the DTaP is contraindicated, and they give a single dose of the TdaP instead, followed by just the Td. The big difference is the diphtheria load; I'm not sure about the preservative content of one vs. the other.

The following is from the CDC's Catch-up Schedule:
"Tetanus and diphtheria toxoids vaccine (Td) and tetanus and diphtheria
toxoids and acellular pertussis vaccine (Tdap).
• Tdap should be substituted for a single dose of Td in the primary catch-up series or as a booster
if age appropriate; use Td for other doses.
• A 5-year interval from the last Td dose is encouraged when Tdap is used as a booster dose. A
booster (fourth) dose is needed if any of the previous doses were administered at younger than
12 months of age. "
