the season premiere is on right now....

It's on my DVR. My husband isn't a fan so I tend to save it for watching when he's not around. Unless there's a two hour Grey's Anatomy special and nothing else on the DVR that he wants to watch.

I will be watching it later tonight once I get through all the new NCIS and CSI marathon shows.

Oh no! I missed it

I WISH! My tivo is recording it right now, but it's a tradition for my husband and I to watch it together every week and he's asleep on the couch. I guess we'll just watch it together tomorrow night.

Oh my goodness, I have not cried that bad since Dr. Greene died. I had no idea that was going to happen. Sigh, he will be missed.

(Why do I get hooked into these fictional characters????)

Well this is going to be a sad season. Loosing several regular cast memebers by the previews. Cant really blame some of them for deciding to leave during the season and not stay till the end but it is gonna suck.

That was sad, I never saw that coming. Wonder if they will kill everyone off though, and then close County for good? Nobody else better die off, it's too depressing.

I missed it! Can someone tell me all that happened...pretty please

I sobbed like a baby, and yup it was totally reminiscent of Greene dying (which is still my all time best/worst case of blubbering over television...I was devastated). Sigh...maybe I need to get a life? Ah well, I will one it's off the air, I guess

You can watch clips or whole episode at nbc.com, or the whole episode at ctv.ca if you're in Canada I don't want to say all that happened for fear of spoiling it for someone reading the thread...

Once they said 'someone will take their last breath' I totally knew what/who was going to happen. Especially since they showed the 'close call' then the recovery. Still sucks, though- I still lost it, even though I knew. ER is pretty predictable, but I love it anyway. They are really good actors.

Me to & I agree. When he was still cognitive & that tear rolled down his cheek, omg, I lost it. Then when they took him upstairs for surgery I lost it again.

Just finished watching it and I cried the entire show. DS was there to remind me it was a "fictional character" but I don't care I cried and cried.

I knew it was coming though once I heard Angela Basset was going to be the new Chief

I thought I was going to be all right and not cry... then Morris gave Bettina the ring

My dh cried too... we are such suckers. Every week we ask ourselves..."Why do we watch this show?!?!"
I cried the hardest when the blood was spitting out everywhere and the tears were coming out of his eyes. Damn, I'm gonna get started again. His face, his look, his tears just killed me.

Crap! He was my favorite on the show!
Now I guess Uncle Jesse is my new fave!

I'm not too happy with the way the show is going. I really don't want to meet a bunch of new people when it's the last season. And could the new attending be a bigger B$tch?
