I hit 50 lbs lost today!

I joined a gym in January and my goal for this year was to loose 50lbs. My long term goal was to loose 75lbs. I hit the 50lb mark today: I'm fitting into size 14's for the first time since middle school. I feel like I've totally accomplished something, I've been really dedicated. I've gone to the gym every day and kept a food diary for most of the time. I have so much more energy and feel great. I wish I could post before and after photo's. I just wanted to share my "high" today, thanks for listening

yay mama! You are an inspiration-- I started going to the gym Sept 1 and am keeping track of what I eat-- I'm only 3 weeks in and can already see/ feel the difference. Any tips for sticking with it? I wish you could post before and after pics, too.

Well done!:

I keep a picture of "big me" on the frig, lol. I'm a all or nothin kind of person, once i put y mind to something. I started this journey as a way to get pg with #1. I had just it over 300lbs It was a real motivator and I lost 100lbs. In doing so I just made a lot of things "lifestyle" changes which helped me keep it off after pg but I had to put the "petal to the metal" to loose again. My toughts/motivators lean toward setting a good example for my kids now. I don't want my kids to end up obese too. I don't have a digital camera right now It's broken

Well not quite more like:
lost 100lb
pg#1 gained 75
lost 60lbs
pg #2 gained 65
lost about 40 (just having baby and walking over time)
lost 50lbs since joining a gym

so total 250lbs I lost a "me", lol

Even more impressive. I went back to edit my original post because this effort is all yours, not ours to claim. I am awed by how you have stuck with it and come back to it. As we all know there are so many changes when a baby is added. Congratulations again and may you continue your success.
