I thought it would be fun to start a thread where we bragged on our bodies and what they can do for us. Brag away! Don't be shy! You can brag on something you have accomplished lately, or just brag on a body part if you want to.
Two rules:
Rule 1: Your self-compliment has to have no strings attached. No sneaking negative comments into your compliment! For instance: this is OK: "I ran a mile today and I was so proud of myself! I felt really strong!" but this is not OK: "I ran a mile today! Maybe the running will help me get rid of these nasty saddlebags."
Rule 2: you are not allowed to let others' accomplishments prevent you from being proud of your own accomplishments. For instance, if you just did five real pushups and you are really proud of yourself, by all means post and be proud, even though someone else upthread just posted that they did fifty.
Okay, I'll start. I went hiking with friends last weekend. I was told that the hike would be a hilly 1 1/4 miles, which didn't sound like a big deal to me. Well, turns out that "hilly" meant "like climbing a staircase," and 1 1/4 miles was just one way, and then we had to turn around and come back! But I did it! And I stayed with the pack, and didn't fall behind, and oh, did I mention that I had my very heavy toddler on my back?! I felt like Superwoman. And I wasn't even all that sore the next day.
Okay, your turn!

I have a hard time finding people to share my successes with. Thanks for giving me a place to brag!
