I figured out that as much as I'd like newer cool weather clothes, all I really had to have to make what I already have work were a few neutral long-sleeved layering tee shirts and a new bra. Hit clearance at Target on my way to the dentist this morning and now the only "new" clothes I am planning to buy are whatever I can find thrifting for $1.25 each.

The HH expense last night sucked, but it was politically/professionally necessary. Que sera sera.

Oct 1: $12 bar tab; $15 GW
Oct 2: $14 GW; $46 group lunch; $5 t-shirt; $21 new S'bucks card
Oct 3: $6 Taco Bell; $30 Gap Outlet (jeans and dress); $18 L'Occitane Outlet (soap and lip gloss); $15 Crate & Barrel outlet (dish towels); $68 Banana Republic outlet (shirts); $9 ice cream; $24 dinner/drinks
Oct 4: $32 REI (skirts, going to be returned); $13 lunch; $26 natural soap company
Oct 5: $12 lunch
Oct 6: $2 PO; $7 lunch; $3 snack
Oct 7: ~$15 on food at work (breakfast, lunch, and snack)

Why did you return those much-needed bras? Wouldn't you count that as a necessary expense?
Okay this month has just become a tally for me of all the places I spend money. Because I'm not making much effort to no-spend at all.

But I need to keep coming on here because it keeps me in the HABIT of recording this stuff. And I'll be no-spending like crazy for the rest of the month because there is still month left but no money.

Which seems to be a recurring theme for me.

They didn't fit. But I brought a much cheaper new bra that does fit today, and found another old one I can get some more life out of at the bottom of the drawer yesterday, so I'll be OK for the time being.
