this is tmi.. but, you did open up a thread that said "diva cup question"... so, i bought a diva cup because i had my period while on vacation and i don't use tampons and i wanted to be able to go swimming. swimming never happened, so this is the first time trying said diva cup. i bought the one that said over 35 and have given birth. well, it feels like it's going to fall out and it's leaking. i kind of moved it around in there and i couldn't get it to go up any further . is there something i'm doing wrong here?

Make sure it is fully open after inserting it and you should be able to give it a full rotation easily, that is what helps it to - plus the little holes around the rim need to be clean or it won't seal. It takes some getting used to.

I had the same problem the first time I used my diva cup. It took a lot of adjustments, but eventually I found the right technique and now I'm absolutely in LOVE with my diva cup!!

This site was really helpful for me.

Hi Barbee,

I had a lot of trouble at first. I felt like my diva cup was going to shoot out...I ended up cutting off the entire nub thingy. I still have to twist it around before I feel it "suck" into place.
