He's the most perfect thing I could possibly imagine and I love him so intensely that it really hurts.
I'm eager to post my birth story and process it here. This DDC has meant a lot to me. For now though, since this is my first time online, the super short version...
Born at home after 36 hours of intense labor including lots of back labor and over 6 hours of grueling, excruciating pushing. Not at all what I was expecting. So freaking hard. But ultimately I'm proud and thrilled from the experience.
I'm feeling pretty battered and bruised, and very overwhelmed from the birth, though each day gets better. Nursing going fantastically, thank goodness.
Looking forward to catching up on all the DDC news soon.
