Homeschooling Groups/ Info for Denton, TX

Hi! We've decided to homeschool our DD and will be moving to the area in October. I'm looking to find homeschooling support groups. DD's not old enough for official schooling (she's 2 1/2), but I want us to be exposed to homeschooling families. I'm leaning towards unschooling or unit studies or a combo. I guess we'll end up being eclectic at first. Anyway I'd like to find an accepting group of families that doesn't mind tag-alongs. We are Christian, but don't mind secular groups. Also we don't mind traveling a bit for a good group.
Thanks!!

Denton has some really great homeschooling groups. When we lived within driving distance, we used to be involved with several of them -- very friendly, very open people. You'll find both very structured Christian groups as well as very liberal unschooling groups. You'll find most of them listed on North Texas Natural Family's education and learning page. (Please let me know if you run into any dead links or find new groups not listed. Thanks!)

Have fun -- it's a great area to live in for homeschoolers.

Peace ~
