Safety of Chinese Made Xylitol Mints?

I've been using the Spry xylitol mints daily for my 18 month old dd's teeth, but I see on the packaging that they are made with "raw materials from China and the USA." Since one of the ingredients is calcium lactate (milk-derived, I think?) I am wondering if we need to be concerned, considering the recent problem with melamine being found in Chinese milk...?

I hope not, because they, along with the other changes we have made, really seem to be doing some good.

Great question, I would love to know as well.

(P.S. Could you tell me what else you are doing for your LO? My LO is 20 months old and has enamel/pitting/discoloration. )

I don't think calcium lactate is actually a dairy derived ingredient. But I am wary of buying Spry anyway because of the China thing. Plenty of things from China have been tainted, not just milk.

Too bad because their mints and gum are really good.
