OK, so I talked to the PA today and they want to watch his temp for 48 hours to make sure he's keeping it up outside of the isolette. So far, so good. And I have to interject here how fabulous it is to be able to just waltz into the unit and pick up my baby whenever I dang well please (you aren't allowed to take them out of the isolette or put them back in it by yourself) now that he's in the open crib. Anyway, last night he had a desaturation, which is no big deal, but the nurse charted it funny so they aren't for sure if there was a bradycardia (the evil heartrate drop that sets him back 5 days) with it or not. If there was, we're looking at Saturday at the earliest. If there was not, he's coming home Wednesday! I'll know for sure later this afternoon and I'll let you all know. Please keep your prayers going/fingers crossed/whatever you do! I'm trying really hard not to get my hopes up yet.
