We have a homecoming date? Oh yes, we do!!! Update #27 - Page 2

Hoping for Saturday!!

I know how hard it is, my DS was in the NICU for 10 days and it was supposed to be only 3 at first, and kept getting longer. (And he wasn't even a preemie, he was a 41-weeker actually.)

We're still looking good. Seems the brady was technically Monday morning so Sunday will be homecoming day. We'll nest at the hospital Saturday night. He hasn't had any more bradycardia since then, so keep your fingers crossed. Whatever you guys are doing to send us luck/good wishes is working so far!

So I just called this morning to check on how his night went and he had a great night! We're going in this morning just to hang out and feed him, then we'll go back this evening after dinner and "nest" with him there tonight. Tomorrow around lunchtime, we'll be bringing the little guy home! YEA!

I can't even express how I feel today! Tonight, Tim and I are nesting at the hospital. They have a special room set aside so parents of preemies can room in for a night with the baby before bringing them home. Tomorrow, he comes home! The nesting is optional, especially for baby #3. We know perfectly well what to do with a newborn and roughly what to expect. But it's one less night I have to tell him goodbye when I say goodnight and tuck him in. The girls are at my mom's for the weekend and they are really looking forward to having their baby brother home when they get back tomorrow afternoon. Although, Gloria seems to think that he's going to come home and play with her and sleep in her bed with her, lol. And Alexis knows everything about babies, you know, because she has a baby sister too. Anyway, I'm babbling because I'm just bouncing off the walls. I'm off to feed Levi, then leaving the hospital to get my hair cut (haven't had a haircut since June and I'm in dire need), then dinner with hubby sans-kids, then we're heading to the hospital to not leave the baby behind again!

Not in your DDC, but wanted to wish you the best bringing your little guy home. Our 3rd baby was in the NICU for a little while and I know how hard it is to be waiting and waiting.
Congratulations!
