CNMs in Newport Beach area?

My sister is newly pregnant and is looking for a CNM in the Newport Beach area... anyone know if there are any with hospital privileges?

pretty sure lori walker of southcoast midwifery still holds prviledges at the OC hospital. although her home birth and birth center is amazing.

I'm trying to talk my sis into a birth center, but it's a no go.

Kaiser Permanente and Orange Coast Memorial Hospital are the only two hospital systems with midwives on staff (both are HMO). There are NO private practice CNMs who have hospital privileges in the county (or beyond). Lisa Sherwood and BJ Snell previously had a private practice associated with South Coast Medical Center hospital in Laguna but over the summer the hospital shut down maternity services entirely. BJ is now working on a birth center project that will open soon.

In nearby Whittier Simona Istrate has a birth center and hospital practice (and plans to expand to home birth in 2009).
