Antibacterial for Waterpik

Anyone know a good antibacterial rinse that would work with a Waterpik & not clog it up? Hopefully I can find one that's safe to swallow, although my 3 year old is pretty good about not swallowing.

Do you mean just to clean it out good? Or for your child to squirt in his/her mouth?

Personally, I would just use water in it with a 3 yo. You could clean it out by putting some alcohol or something in the reservoir and spraying it into the sink then rinsing it with water.

For my kids to squirt into their mouths. I make my own mouthwash, & I don't think essential oils would be good for the waterpik. The manual says that you have to be careful what you use or it'll clog it.
