I'm hoping to get a little feedback on some of my business ideas. I am an apparel designer, and I'm planning on starting my own business making and selling garments and accessories for a niche market. That market being the pagan/wiccan community. Because the community is widespread but isolated, I'm having a hard time getting feedback directly (other than the people I know personally). This is an issue because people practice so very differently! Whereas one group might only wear traditional black robes for circles, others have no problem wearing any colour for ceremonies. What might seem very useful an accessory for some might be completely useless for most others.

I've been looking for a online forum to join, but haven't found any that are very populated.

So, this has been my idea. Start with a very limited line of products (robes, woven belts, altar cloths etc...) and request feedback on product ideas on the website. Given enough interest, I'll start producing them. Does this seem professional? My investment in raw materials and inventory needs to be MINIMAL to start, so I'm trying to be cautious, but I don't want to do so at the cost of turning off customers. I really want to focus on useful things, not frivolities.

TIA!
