No, I don't think so. Many women don't experience dropping of the baby until labor. I guess it's more common for first time moms to have the baby drop weeks ahead of time, and for baby to drop later if you're on subsequent pregnancies. But this is my first baby and I think she dropped maybe a month ago, but came back out of position. She's settling in, but definitely not "Dropped." My midwives are not concerned.

Thanks for the response. It's just weird. Here I am in October with no baby yet. My initial due date was 9/16 (LMP). Then it was changed to 9/26 (U/S...but it could be off by a week or so). The only thing that concerns me is that I think I conceived on Christmas, so that puts my U/S date about a week longer than what it should be if I did conceive on Christmas (meaning that instead of nearing 41 weeks, I might be nearing 42 weeks).
I know I should stop overthinking it and just let her come in her own due time. But it's hard! I have no signs of labor or impending labor! None. |
