~ Exercise daily: Purposeful walking, yoga classes and solo practice, hiking, biking, lap swimming and water exercises, pushups, and perhaps some sort of weights. I am going for variety to benefit my body, mind, and spirit.
~ Drink water daily: 60-70 oz
~ Mindful portions: reasonable portions and wide variety of foods.

To support these goals:

~ I'll weigh in once a week on Friday mornings and write it down.
~ I joined the 1000 minutes challenge for October with a monthly goal of 2555 minutes.
~ We are already doing the 100 pushups challenge. We are starting Week 6 on Friday and will take the final test and begin a new 6-week round before month-end. I am against the wall for this round and will move to the stairs for a greater incline for the next round.
~ I will schedule exercise in my calendar weekly.
~ I will track my ounces of water daily.
~ I will use my hand and fingers for easy portion guides. (Meat = palm, bulky foods = fist, dense foods = circle of forefinger to thumb, etc.) This was my weakest point last month. Let's see how it goes this month.
~ I will eat various colors at each meal. Variety is the spice of life for me, so mixing things up keeps me happy while benefitting me nutritionally.
~ I will continue down the path of resolving emotional and physical issues that have plagued me for over two decades.

LET THE MONTH BEGIN! BEST WISHES TO ALL!!!!
It is Friday, so here is my weekly progress report...

~ I weighed 173.7 this morning (up again). I am still down from when I started at the beginning of September, so that is good!
~ As of last night (10/9), I have exercised 785/2555 minutes for the month, which is nearly 31% and was 29% of the month. I haven't done the math, yet, for today's exercise.
~ I'm behind on the pushup challenge, but I have completed week 6 day 2.
~ I better schedule my exercise for next week soon!
~ I have drank 60-70 oz of water daily, which is my goal.
~ Portions were all over the map this past week.
~ Colors are good at most meals, but could use a bit of tweaking next week.
~ I have my next transformational breathflow session on Monday. (I didn't have one since my last mention.) I am also starting another healing treatment option at the end of the month. I need to clear my schedule (or better put, stop scheduling myself) for the end of October and through November. Both facilitators know each other well (even though I met them through completely different people...funny how life works, eh?) and they both recommend this practice in order be fully present in the healing process.

I have lost about 8 - 10 lbs on my master cleanse-
i know that can change once I go back to solid food but if even 4 ish stay off I will be psyched!!!!
Never thought i could go for 10 days without food-
my belly and thighs are both noticably smaller- layers of accumulation gone!!!!

Third Friday of the month progress report...

~ I weighed in at 174.x...ugh...another UP.
~ I am right on target for my 2555 minutes of exercise this month. Clearly exercise is not the key for me, at least not for actual weightloss. It DOES do wonders for my mood and motivation and other such things, though.
~ The pushup challenge kicked my booty. I still cannot do a full regulation pushup on the floor despite the six-week training program. My arms/shoulders/chest/etc muscles ARE getting stronger, though.
~ I have been actually doing okay with a more relaxed approach to exercise. I've been deciding the night before or the morning of what activity to do that day (class, bike ride, walk, etc...).
~ I have been doing very well with my water intake and feel well hydrated.
~ I am doing okay with portions most of the time, but could improve this area.
~ I am doing pretty good with variety in my diet.
~ I am continuing down the path of enlightenment (so to speak) and digging deep for resolution and peace. This has been quite challenging this week especially. Between my menstrual cycle suddenly being difficult and allergy season and sinus trouble, the last thing I really want to do is become one with myself and breathe into the discomfort. I've resorted to calling my wellness coach once and emailing three times already and it has only been since Monday when I last saw him. I see him again in two days and he said we can work on the sinus issues more directly then.
