Halloween and the holidays are coming up soon. Let's support one another through these tempting foodie days.

Being off dairy is going to make it much easier for me, I wont be able to munch on funsize candy bars.

I plan on hitting the -70 pound mark tomorrow. Crossing my fingers!!

I'd love to join in. I've lost about 25 pounds since January. I'm now doing Core and loving it.

My husband lost his job, so he's been home for a couple weeks. The stress, plus having him around, I've been off program and eating like crap for a couple weeks. Yuck.

I'm back on track today!

Joining in!

I've been on ww since April and have lost 28.6 lbs! The past six weeks had been horrible until I started the Wendie Plan with ww. I was stuck in a plateau I thought I would never break until this week

Hi! Glad to see a WW thread for October already in progress.

I have GREAT news.

I haven't been to a meeting all month. So I knew I was up...I finally gave up on the meeting idea and decided to join online..Monday...I weighed 180..up from 174.8

So this morning I weighed on impulse and I was 174...what? No way I lost 6 lbs since Monday..not a chance...I moved the scale, jumped around, moved it again..174, weighed the kids..it's right:

So I guess when I jumped on on Monday it was off a LOT! So I'm only actually up two lbs in two months(I was down to 172 but didn't weigh in to have it recorded at ww) and down .8 from my last ww meeting(my scale has always been almost exactly like ww)

So now that I have that settled..here are my stats!

I'm 5'5
Starting weight 189.4
Current weight 174
Loss to date: 15.4
I need to lose 2.6 to reach my 10%(18lbs)
My goal is 150 and I need to lose another 24lbs to reach that but I'm possibly rethinking that later if I fit a size 8 comfortably at a higher weight.

And two days ago I ran 3.2k!

And today I met a friend who said "you have lost an LOT of weight, you look great" and I said "Thank You"

Cheers!

Hey all - it sound like we are all off to an encouraging start to October. I lost 2.2 lbs in my WI on wed. That's 11 pounds for the first month of WW! It probably helps that I'm tandem nursing - no extra points for nursing two!

I definitely will need encouragement as the holidays near - I'll be going back to work soon - i'm an RN in a hospital so around the holidays there is so much sweets and junk - no one ever brings us fruit platters. I have limited ability to walk past a platter of baked goods.

Let's have an OP month!

I made a mini apple pie last night and only ate a little of the apple part. No Crust!! I'm so proud. It's so encouraging to see the scale go down that I don't want to ruin it.

I also didn't feel like staying at the meeting yesterday, but I did anyway. I was really glad. It was a great meeting. A lot of people were talking about how many times they've done ww, but this time it's clicking. I feel like that about my weight loss this time. I'm not going to give up this time.

Starting up here too!!! (again)

: CONGRATS everyone, love hearing these wonderful stories.. :

I was on WW a while back and slumped off... :

I am back and feeling better than ever... YAY

My BIRTHDAY was yesterday and I said a good, hard, long prayer about many things... I awoke this morning feeling like a brand new woman, I feel energized, loving, motivated, friendly, and just ever so BLESSED to have the things I have in life.

A man I know recently said a quote, made me think a bit, and to my suprise, I cannot get this quote out of my head, pertains to EVERYTHING..

" If you arent content with a little, you wont be content with a lot"

Makes so much sense.

Anywho.

Starting weight for start up..

155.4

Subbing ... I did WW years ago and did well on it, although I do think it made me think about food TOO much, kwim? I'm older now and better able to handle the emotional aspects, I think. I'm still considering joining, and talking to dh about it, too.

Anyway, I'm now exercising three times a week and need to take it up a notch -- put on some jeans yesterday that fit fine in the spring and was packed into them, major muffin top I'm 43 and think I just need to start working harder on staying healthy.

Yesterday was actually a big deal for me because I baked cookies and I tend to overeat. But I ate some dough and two cookies and none today. I just counted it into my points and exercised SELF CONTROL.

I cant wait for my Monday Weigh in. My own scale went down quite a bit (like someone on the Sept thread said, in regards to gaining and periods) and I hope the WW one does too!

Cathochick..I retain during ovulation too...it'll balance out next wi

JMM...great self control! Good luck on Monday. I weigh in then as well!

My period is due. I feel achy/crampy...I"m retaining too..I'm drinking water like crazy to fend of the retention.

I've been completely OP all week

At my last weigh in I was only down .4, which put me at -69.4. Sheesh! I am so close to that 70 mark, but cannot get there. So, today, I am back on. I got a new food journal and am counting away. And no snacking. Especially not those Maui Onion potato chips in the cabinet!!

Just for fun, today I had a bluberry bagel with my dairy free butter alternative. For lunch I had a tortilla with pizza sauce and spinach on it, cooked up in the oven, yummy. For dinner, we will be having TVP tacos and, hopefully, and artichoke for snacking on.

CONGRATS

::::
I have terrible cravings..my period is due any minute. I ate 6pts worth of chocolate last night..after I ate my allotted points which included a treat of chocolate.

I'm going to bed directly after dinner tonight...to avoid the late night cravings...seriously...I'm fine until 9pm then bam.

I'm up half a pound too..and I know it's because of pms

But it makes me mad because I'm doing so well.

I also had a bladder infection and I haven't been walking or running...

Ok..enough ranting...back OP today!

Bad Food Day

I had been doing well until yesterday afternoon. Lately I've been focusing on how I feel deprived in the food department and yesterday I just totally gave in. I felt really disgusting afterward. Today I'm getting back on track. I hope I got that out of my system and can just move on and focus on getting to goal.
